This is the route from the 2013 Gender Neutral Rapscallion Reacharound. It’s primarily paved, with a few miles of gravel coming down the backside of Lolo Pass. We ran the route clockwise, starting at the White River Sno-Park. You could easily start this anywhere along the route – Zig Zag, Government Camp and Parkdale would make obvious choices, as would the tavern at Cooper Spur.
There are two alternate sections: 1) Still Creek Road between Government Camp and Zig Zag, a sweet mostly-gravel backroad; and 2) FS-1828 up to Lolo Pass. Both add a bit of distance to the route and FS-1828 adds another 500 ft. of climbing.
